Clarence Page in the Barack Tribune today, writes a column that asks if the "witch-hunters" have forced Van Jones out of office? Mr. Page blames the Evil Glenn Beck and his smear campaign showing Van Jones as a radical Communist. You can sense that Clarence Page wants to say Van Jones has been Borked, but...well, that opens up a whole new can of worms. See, it is not logical to say Mr. Jones "dabbled" in communism in his youth, when, only a few years ago, he was taped spouting such nonsense.
Aaron Klein reports that Jones himself stated in a 2005 interview his environmental activism was a means to fight for racial and class “justice,” and that he was a “rowdy black nationalist,” and a “communist.”
Saying that something had been done in your youth, four years prior, only works for the under 12 set. Besides, according to liberals that is no excuse. It wasn't for Douglas Ginsberg, when his "youthful indiscretions" came to light. Let us not forget the fuss raised by the left about Justice Alito's membership in C.A.P....in 1985. He was a student...I think that qualifies as your youth. The left, however, did not want to let it go. It was harped on over and over. Oh, but about Teddy and that girl...well, who remembers anyway?
Finally, blaming Glenn Beck for Van Jones' losing his job is simply ridiculous. Glenn Beck played the statements Van Jones made for everyone to see, not just the A**hole statement, but all of them. Quite honestly, I was not surprised by the name-calling. Really, as if I don't call the left similar names, but I was disturbed by the extreme left wing views of Mr. Jones and judging by the outcry of the people, so were all of you.
Glenn Beck just did what the media used to do years ago. Investigate, and then report on it. Too bad, Mr. Page, you lost the scoop. Guess you were too busy worshipping at the alter of Obama. You snooze, you lose. And lose, indeed. Glenn Beck's viewership far outnumbers the meager readers of your column.
Try some real reporting next time...it may help.

Hi Mrs. DiLeo!
This is Sophie.
I also LOVE Glenn Beck. It is amazing what he uncovers! I named my new fish Glenn Beck Carson! Today I am home sick. I took the opportunity to catch up on the "Glenn Beck"'s I missed.
Sophie Carson
Sorry to hear you are sick. However, you are getting some great home-schooling from our Mr. Beck!
