Obama: not so Fox-y

So, President Obama doesn't like Fox News Channel. I guess it is not so fun to have to answer difficult questions from such evil guys like...oh, Neil Cavuto (love him), Shep Smith (not a conservative), or Chris Wallace (oooh, evil!). It is not as if President Bush ever had to take tough questions from any unfriendly networks...like...ALL OF THEM! Even my darling Cavuto (apologies to my hubby!), interviewed George Bush and I would say it was not exactly friendly towards Bush. Hell, even Pres. Clinton, of whom I am not a fan, stood up to criticism. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,158960,00.html

I feel that if Pres. Obama is so marvelous and god-like, then going on Fox News could change all of us into Hopium addicts. So bring it on, Mr. President. Let's see what you've got. So far, you've just been preaching to the choir. Maybe I will like what you have to say. Hey, I love this country and want the best for it. Haven't seen you, Pres. Obama, giving the best to America as of yet. Convince me, please.

It is almost childish. Pres. Obama is going to take his ball and go home. After all, it is not his fault, it is the other guy and why is everyone against him? How petty. Be the man you say you are. Go on Fox and explain yourself. It is Stalinesque, this blackout of certain media outlets.

Is anyone concerned yet?

Do you even have a working definition of socialism in your brain? Why do you believe everything you see on FOX News? It's no more fair or balanced than any other news channel.

And this is rich coming from you. Bush held about 3 press conferences total while in office 8 years. He totally avoided the press, just like he avoided his job (about 1.5 YEARS he spent on vacation.) Now you have the gall to criticize Obama for avoiding the press? Such short memories you people have.

Bush created this whole mess we are living through today. You may not like his methods, but Obama is doing his best to repair the damage. And he was elected fair & square by a wide margin (not the piddly barely over 50% W won by in the 2nd, and let's remember he lost the popular vote.) So a majority of the American people support him, voted for him, and people like you, whose leaders almost destroyed this country, will now have to just sit back and take it, like we did for 8 years. Try not to let it drive you (more) insane.

Oh, beautiful...I'm "you people". Gotta love a tolerant liberal. I believe I asked to be convinced to a different viewpoint. Well, you did not do it.
Hon, just because a majority of people vote for someone doesn't make it right. The majority of people enjoy Adam Sandler movies and Danielle Steel.
I am certainly not a fan of Bush. He did start us on the "bailout" path to destruction.
Yes, I will have to suck it up for a few years, but if you think I've got to shut up...well, think again.

Again with the self-pity and playing the victim. No one is taking away your right to free speech and no one is trying to deny your equal rights to citizenship. Yours is the party of bigotry, misogyny, and opposition to civil rights. "You people" is not the same as the words you people use to describe people like Barack and Michelle Obama, homosexuals, Muslims, and other minorities. Quit your damn whining, hypocrite.

Wow, where did that come from? Who is playing a victim? I must not be typing in English...
It is great to hear from all you lefties. For a party that won the last election, you guys sure are nasty. Guess we on the right are getting under your skin.
Look, if you just want to rant, why don't you go write your own blog? My blog is my rant. If it is so hard to understand, go elsewhere. In the meantime, try to make some intelligent arguments, rather than just name call.

Interesting!!!

The short answer to your inquiry --- No! But "yes" for others.

As for "suck it up for a few years" --- Maybe but the "spirit" is alive & more prevalent than it has been in at least 140 years. We're likely to see "things" that we wouldn't have thought possible a few years ago.

Take care & God Bless America!!!

It's been a while. But you sure got the attention of your local socialists, it would appear. Well done, Carolyn!
