Well, Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is a month away and it is back to work, school, or in my case, many loads of wash that are waiting. Also, after the week-long feast that is my holiday, I have to drop a few pounds before gaining them again in a few weeks!
My son, eight years old, is a bit old to believe in Santa. I think he suspected a year ago, but, as children will, he hedged his bet where the Jolly One was concerned. Now, we also celebrate St. Nick's day on Dec. 6th. The children get Christmas stockings filled with small gifts and candies. A few days before, I take the stockings and fill them and keep them hidden. He always asks where they are and my girls and I say that the E.L.F. delivery truck picked them up to have St. Nick deliver on the 6th filled. This year, he asked me "Well, if you are St. Nick, who are those guys who pick up the stockings?" We told him that I hide them until the big day, but he insisted he had seen the elves and even described the green suits and hats with bells that they wear, including the large green truck that they drive. Talk about imagination! We just couldn't convince him otherwise, so my husband said, "Well, who knows? Bob, who knows?" Great story to tell his kids someday!

If you haven't done so, please Ace your face! You can send it to friends and it is fun! http://aceyourface.acehardware.com/ace/index.jsp?cid=
No politics today. Not much new. Hilary is Sec. of State and we all knew that was coming. So more of the Clintons to follow. Please, they are sooooo "90's"! How dull!
