Election Malaise

I know, I know, I haven't been posting. I guess I have a bit of election blues. I feel disappointed that Obama is president, but even more so, I am angered by the way Sarah Palin has been treated by the McCain campaign. His half-hearted, too little too late speech on Leno was just not enough.
I think the Republican party has to learn the truth. We cannot win by going left of center. The fact that McCain and Obama are getting all cozy leads me to the terrible truth that McCain was not going to be any kind of conservative in the White House. Could you see Reagan in Obama's cabinet? Some fireworks, I'd guess!
So who is out there for us conservatives? We still have talk radio, as long as we are allowed to have it. Yeah, Rush, Sean, Medved and others. However, I do have a bit of a bone to pick with Medved, who staunchly supported McCain, when most of us knew what a train wreck that would be. I am sick of hearing that Mrs. Palin was a drag on the ticket. Actually, McCain was a drag on the ticket.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are nigh. We are trying not to charge anything and let me tell ya', it's gonna be bare bones this year. Gotta get the bills down. Who knows what will happen? Hope and Change? More like Hope for change! Pocket change!
